Deadly species of octopus found in Antarctica

Four new species of octopus have been found in Antarctica and are armed with poison that works in subzero temperatures. The cousins of Paul, the octopus, may not have the gift of clairvoyance, but can provide information to open opportunities for drug development (This note is not about animal cruelty). Following the successful adaptation of the Antarctic octopus to life, a group of researchers at the University of Melbourne have indicated they want to take the shellfish poison for medicinal use, announcing that it would be possible to exploit the "saliva" secreted by the tentacles of the octopus. The study of the mutant species will allow the development of drugs compounds with endless therapeutic potential.

Flying donkey in Russia

A donkey was towed by a speedboat along a Russian beach and placed high above the sky. The beast was braying inconsolably for half an hour while dangling helplessly under the parachute. Later on, the donkey landed in an atrocious manner on the beach and was dragged by the waves of the Azov Sea (southern Russia). It was found alive amid the coast. The Kremlin in Russia reported that the donkey survived after the ordeal. An amateur video shows several men holding the donkey and placing parasail harnesses to it before launching it into the air. A local newspaper "Taman" reported: "the donkey flew so high in the sky that the children on the beach cried." Russian police are investigating the bizarre advertising campaign of the flying donkey made by employees of the Russian entertainment company involved.
